Plugins & themes

Every plugin and theme, listed. Nothing touched.

An agent that knows what the site runs plans better and guesses less. Two reads report the whole inventory — versions, which are active, which theme is live, and which have an update waiting — and asking never sends the site off to wordpress.org.

Anyone whose first question to an agent is “what is this site actually running?”

2 jobs

What people actually ask for.

Each of these is carried by named operations that exist in the release you can download today. The ids under every answer are the calls involved — nothing here is a plan.

“What plugins does this site have, and are any out of date?”

The full inventory with versions and the update column WordPress itself last computed, stamped with when that check happened.

“Which theme is live, and what else is installed?”

Every theme with its version, the active one marked, parent and child distinguished, updates flagged the same way.

The shape of it

2 operations, 2 of them reads.

What the site runs: every installed plugin and theme, its version, whether it is active, and whether an update is waiting.

Nothing extra to install. This module runs on core WordPress alone.

Every operation, with its policy

Reads

2 operations that only report. A read still asks WordPress for a capability against the object.

Writes

0 that change something — each one previewed as a diff, snapshotted, verified by reading the site back, and reversible from wp-admin.

Tier

Free, permanently. Nothing in this area moves into a paid tier later.

The limit

What it will not do here.

The free plugin only ever reads this inventory. Activating, deactivating, switching, updating and installing live in SiteHelm Pro — and even there, installs take a WordPress.org slug and nothing else.

Note 1

The update column is read from WordPress’s own last check and stamped with when that check happened — exactly as fresh as the Plugins screen, and asking never sends the site off to wordpress.org.

Note 2

A network-activated plugin is reported as such, because a single site does not own that decision.
