Code (Pro) — Pro

Code your agent can write, and a way back at every step.

Snippets, site-wide CSS and JS, and full scaffolds — written by an agent, stored off by default, proven by a health check the moment they go live, and reverted automatically if the site stops rendering.

Owners who want the small functions.php-grade changes an agent suggests, without ever being the person who white-screened their own site at midnight.

3 jobs

What people actually ask for.

Each of these is carried by named operations that exist in the release you can download today. The ids under every answer are the calls involved — nothing here is a plan.

“Add a snippet that hides the admin bar for subscribers.”

The snippet is written INACTIVE. Activating it runs a health check as it goes live — if the front end stops rendering it is reverted and quarantined, and an unconfirmed activation deactivates itself.

  • code-snippet-write needs manage_options + edit_plugins re-checked
  • code-snippet-activate needs manage_options + edit_plugins re-checked
  • code-snippet-confirm needs manage_options + edit_plugins re-checked

“A snippet broke the site. Get me back in.”

Snippets never load on SiteHelm’s own endpoint, so the channel used to remove one keeps working. A one-request safe-mode flag skips every snippet on the way into wp-admin.

  • code-safe-mode-token needs manage_options
  • code-safe-mode-set needs manage_options + edit_plugins re-checked
  • code-snippet-deactivate needs manage_options + edit_plugins re-checked
  • code-quarantine-list needs manage_options

“Scaffold me an Elementor widget for testimonials.”

The full class source comes back as text and nothing is stored. Generating code and storing code are separate acts — the generator works forever with storage switched off.

  • code-scaffold-widget needs manage_options
  • code-scaffold-block needs manage_options
  • code-scaffold-theme-template needs manage_options
The shape of it

18 operations, 9 of them reads.

Snippets, site-wide CSS and JS, and widget, block and theme-template scaffolds — with the recovery path built before the feature.

Needs: SiteHelm Pro on a licensed site. The module ships switched off, and storing code and running code are two separate switches. Where it is absent the operation refuses by name, rather than failing obscurely.

Every operation, with its policy

Reads

9 operations that only report. A read still asks WordPress for a capability against the object.

Writes

9 that change something — each one previewed as a diff, snapshotted, verified by reading the site back, and reversible from wp-admin.

Tier

This area is part of the Pro add-on. On an unlicensed site every call here refuses with IntegrationUnavailable rather than quietly doing nothing.

The limit

What it will not do here.

The module ships switched OFF, and storing code and running code are two separate switches. Where a change touches a code field, the activity log records a byte count and a digest, never the body.

Note 1

Every snippet is written inactive. Activating one runs a health check the moment it goes live — if the site stops rendering, the snippet is reverted automatically and quarantined, and an unconfirmed activation deactivates itself.

Note 2

Snippets never load on SiteHelm’s own endpoint, so the channel used to remove a broken snippet keeps working even when the snippet takes the front end down. A one-request safe-mode flag skips every snippet on the way into wp-admin.

Note 3

The scaffold operations return full class source as text and store nothing. Generating code and storing code are separate acts.
